Miami

Welcome to Miami. What for some people is just a song by Will Smith, is for others probably another anthem of this beautiful city located on the southeast coast of Florida. When people think about Miami, they think about sun, beaches, beautiful girls, and of course, the excellent nightlife, this city has to offer. Let's start with the beaches though. One place you simply don't want to miss is South Beach. Known for its eccentric strip right in downtown Miami, this beach is the hot stop for beautiful people, surfers, singles, and tourists. You can enjoy the perfectly laid beach pretty much all year long. Right along the South Beach is the nightlife strip, where you can find many hot spots, including restaurants, Bars and shopping stores. You also want to go to the Coconut Grove which is very famous for its special restaurants and bars. If you want to go a little south of downtown, you can certainly visit the Ocean Drive by Miami Beach, which also draws a lot of crowd during the day. If you want to go shopping and don't like too many people around you, try Coral Gables, which is a nice area with very unique little stores and boutiques to shop around. If you are going to Miami for the first time, then you should take 2 days for a trip down south to Key West. This is where the people enjoy a beautiful sunset, while shopping and enjoying the fancy artwork plus the active entertainment that takes place all over this most southern island of the United States. Back in the Magic City of Miami you can also take a night of and get the chance to see the famous sport teams in actions. If you like Football, watch a home game of the Dolphins, or watch how the Miami Heat try to shoot basket after basket. Rich people, or those who want to see how people with a lot of money live, can go to Fisher Island, where the rich people live among themselves. On the other hand, if you like to indulge into the harbor part of town, go to the area where you see the big cruise ships. Miami is one of the biggest ports in Northern America. From here you can book trips to Mexico or the Caribbean Sea. Also check out Club Space, where you might drink a Hurricane cocktail or a long island iced tea next to a celebrity you might only have seen on TV. The weather in Miami is sunny all year long, so you don't have to worry about wearing a rain coat. Enjoy the time you will spend outside on the beach or in the city, and also try to see an amusement park, like the monkey or parrot jungle. If you are a golf player, you can choose from over a 100 top locations around the Miami area, to improve your handicap. Miami also has some top resorts and hotels, where you should find the perfect accommodation for the money you want to spend here.
