This annual tradition features hundreds of costumed players, colorful characters from literature and history, and winding lanes filled with shoppes, pubs, and delicious fare. Like no other event in the world, the Great Dickens Christmas Fair transforms 100,000 square feet of exhibition halls into a Victorian Christmas card come to life. This uniquely San Francisco tradition is the holiday party that generations of families have enjoyed for three decades.The Great Dickens Christmas Fair is directed each year by the Patterson family, who created and produced the original Renaissance Faire at Black Point and Stafford Lake in Marin County for over three decades. The Great Dickens Christmas Fair offers guests an escape to Charles Dickens' Londontown complete with madcap theatre and entertainment, sumptuous feasts and delicious treats, games of chance and skill, and 100 charming lamplit shops with one-of-a-kind gifts.Theatrical delights abound for guests both young and old.
